Have been VERY busy!

Sorry about the delay in keeping up with this blog.  I tried to tell people that blogging was going to be very difficult for me because I am just incredibly busy.  I may be able to do it every few weeks, but every day is just NOT going to happen.

Anyway...

I have a few more weddings from the past several weeks to talk about, I will get those up very soon.

Also, I have made some updates to my main website and added some new special offers as well as making some other package changes.

Ceremony at Holy Family Catholic Church

I always have a camera in my hand on the wedding day --- that's what I'm getting paid for, right?! It might as well be duct taped to me, because it does not get put down at all. By the end of the day it sometimes looks as if someone had punched me in the eye. It's because of this that I am able to get those shots that are perfect, and could never be staged.

I am the Photo Ninja, and they called me that all day and night ;). I strike when they don't suspect a thing. My wife Christina has been trained in the ninja ways as well. And gets fabulous shots of the ladies, while I am working with the guys.

The resulting images convey great emotion. You can see the absolute joy, love, and fun that, in this instance, Erin, Brian, their attendants, family and guests had at this wedding. It was a blast, and we had a great time ourselves.





Erin and Brian did not want to see each other before the ceremony, so...

No words needed. It was a moment that they can now treasure forever.

After the ceremony and before the reception -

Erin and Brian's wedding party were a lot of fun, and happy to jump right in when a photo opportunity presented itself. It was just a wee bit hot that day. I would have jumped in myself - and have on other occasions :)

and these people knew how to party! ...actually, I think they invented it ;)

I consider it an honor when I am commissioned to do a couple's wedding. I know there are a lot of choices out there, and it is a big decision. They have trusted me with taking care of their memories. I take my job seriously, I have fun doing it, and I think it shows in the final product.

Introduction

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mark, and I am a photographer. Photography is my trade, it is my passion, it is my living, and it is my life. I can't think of a time when I didn't have a camera. Ever since I was a child, I loved capturing moments in time around me, and I still have that love to this day.

My photography has allowed me to see beautiful things and breathtaking places, and the pictures are my memories. I have shot weddings all over the United States and in Europe, with my wonderful wife Christina of 14 years by my side.

Take a moment and think about what I said in the previous paragraph. Pictures are memories, they are precious, and the person that you entrust to preserve your wedding day photographically should consider your wedding to be the most important one, even if the photographer does 50 weddings a year. I consider every wedding I do to be the most important, and all of my clients are VIP's.

So this is me, Mark, I am a photographer, and I hope you enjoy my art.
